A ceremony called Ha‘amo followed the burial of HRH Prince Fatafehi Tu'ipelehake, and continued from April 17 until May 1. Every day a different Ha‘a or clan presented food and wreaths to the Royal Family at the Palace and to various groups of people and families who were directly involved with the funeral.
The first day of the Ha‘amo to the Palace was led by the children of the late Prince: Princess Mele Siu‘ilikutapu and Princess Fusipala, followed by Prince ‘Uluvalu and his wife Princess Kaimana, then Princess Taone and Princess ‘Ofeina. Following them was the Hon Mailefihi and his wife Hon ‘Ene‘io and their children and relatives (below).
