The noble title Tuita was bestowed on Captain Ma‘ulupekotofa Tuita on December 11, following the death of Baron Tuita of ‘Utungake in Nuku‘alofa on November 8.

The Hon. Ma‘ulupekotofa Tuita is the Governor of Vava‘u, a member of the Cabinet and the Privy Council and the husband of Princess Pilolevu Tuita.
