Hundreds of women members of the Free Church of Tonga dressed in their finest white with hats, gathered in Nuku’alofa on Wednesday, 23 September for their annual roll call.

The occasion known as the "Faka-Sepitema" is a special day held annually for the women to answer and accept a personal call from God and reaffirm one's membership of the church.

The women who came  from all over Tongatapu gathered at the church situated opposite the Royal Tombs.

It is expected other churches will hold their annual roll calls for their women next week in Nuku'alofa.
