The Dawn Princess visited Nuku’alofa today Wednesday, 23 September, a beautiful sunny day for its second visit this year with more than 2000 people on board.

The cruise ship berthed at Vuna Wharf after arriving from Sydney with 1953 passengers and 857 crewmembers.

Passengers, who were mainly Australians visited handicraft stalls at the wharf nad shops and market in the CBD, while some went on a bus tour around the island.

The cruise ship is expected to depart Tonga for Samoa this afternoon.

It is the 11th cruise ship so far with 17 expected to visit Tonga this year.
