The Royal Agricultural, Fisheries and Industrial show in Vava’u was opened by King Tupou VI on Saturday, 8 August.

The event showcased abundant local food crops, fish, seafood, handicrafts, livestock and locally manufactured goods and services.

This is the third of six shows that have been opened by the King after Niuatoputapu and Niuafo'ou last week. Ha’apai is up next on Wednesday, 12 August, ‘Eua on Saturday 15 August and Tongatapu next week on August 21-22.
