Fireworks and tupakapakanava lit up the Nuku’alofa waterfront on Saturday night, 4 July as part of the Coronation celebrations.

HM King Tupou VI and Queen Nanasipau’u’s Coronation service and ceremony was held in the morning at the Centenary Church followed by a Royal Luncheon at Fangatapu in the Royal Palace grounds.

Later in the evening, they attended a Royal Dinner at Masefield Base at Touliki where fireworks were lit. At the same time, students held the tupakapakanava on the waterfront.
