A traditional dancing and handicraft display was held today, 3 July at Digicel Square in the Central Business District this morning as part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Week.

Dances were performed by primary school students from the Government Primary Schools of Kolonga, Talafo’ou and Tatakamotonga.

Handicrafts were also on display for visitors to view and buy at the square.

The MIA week began with a 'Fakama’u’anga ‘o e Fonua' Exhibition on Monday, 29 June at the Fa’onelua Convention Centre. The program is expected to conclude next week.

At the same time, the Tonga Handicrafts and Cultural Tourism Support Program also held a separate prize giving ceremony in the afternoon at the same venue.
