HSH Prince Kalaniuvalu accompanied by Lord Vaha’i and Lord Fakafanua delivered the king’s address, which took less than a minute to read at Parliament House this morning.
The King noted the completion of the current parliamentary session and hoped that parliamentarians would also work together on future strategic development plans that the Government of Tonga has in store.
He was happy that the Speaker Lord Tu’ivakano, Prime Minister, Cabinet Ministers, Nobles and People's Representatives were all well.
The current session which was opened in January sat until 19 March before resuming this week on May 18-20.
