Veiongo wins achievement award for second time [1]

‘Amelia Tupou Veiongo Fa’otusia has won the 2014 New Zealand Pacific Academic Achievement Award for the second year running.
She won the award for the best academic achiever among all the New Zealand Government funded Pacific scholars, at the University of Waikato in Hamilton, firstly in 2013 and now for her work in 2014.
Veiongo is in her final year towards her first Degree of Bachelor of Business Analysis majoring in Economics and Accounting at Waikato University, on a scholarship from the New Zealand Government.
Veionga attributed her achievements to her belief in God’s help, praising God, while thanking her family and friends for the support.
The outstanding scholar looks forward to contributing to Tonga's development when she returns home.
Veiongo is the eldest daughter of Feleti and Polouini Fa'otusia of Ha’ateiho, Tongatapu.
