Sea Princess visits Nuku’alofa [1]

The Sea Princess cruise ship visited Nuku’alofa today with more than 2000 passengers and crew on board.

The cruise ship berthed at Vuna wharf after arriving from Sydney with 1942 passengers and 846 crew.

The passengers, who were mainly Australians with a few British and Italian nationals, visited handicraft stalls at the wharf, the shops and market in the CBD.

The cruise ship is expected to depart Tonga for Samoa this afternoon.

Tonga Tourism has listed a total of 16 cruise ships to visit this year.
