Tupou College tops unofficial gold medal tally [1]

The 91st Inter Collegiate Athletics Competition ended on Friday, 17 April with a colourful march after three-days of hot competition at Teufaiva Outdoor Stadium. 

Unofficial results showed Tupou College on top with 27 gold medals. The official results of the medal tally is expected to be announced sometime this week.

During the closing ceremony, athletes marched in their school colours for the presentation of medals which attracted hundreds of spectators to the stadium.

Nineteen secondary and middle schools from Tongatapu, Ha’apai and Vava’u competed in this year's annual competition.
