Hot competition for Primary Schools [1]

Two days of sports competitions started today at Teufaiva Stadium for sports teams from Government and Non-Government Primary Schools throughout Tongatapu.

The annual Athletic Competition runs from March 26-27.

On a hot sunny day today the young students were ready to compete and cheer for their best athletes representing their schools.

Athletes are combined into district sports teams representing the eastern, western and central districts.

Today's events included track events of 100m sprint, 400m, 50m and 100m hurdles with long jump and shot put in the field events.
