Tonga U17 outclassed by Vanuatu and Tahiti [1]

The Tonga U17’s continue to be outclassed at the Under-17 Oceania Football Championship (OFC) in American Samoa. The team suffered their worst defeat yesterday at the hands of Tahiti, losing 13 – 0.

The Tongans were also held pointless by Vanuatu 9 – 0 last Friday and two days prior lost to the Solomon Islands in their opening match 10 – 1.

The team will play their last game against home-side American Samoa who have also suffered similar defeats, tomorrow January 20.
