GPS Longolongo Golden Jubilee raises $60,000 [1]

Alumni of Longolongo Government Primary School celebrated the school's 50th Golden Jubilee on November 28-30 at Longolongo.
Over 200 local and overseas ex-students took part in the celebration and donated over $60,000 pa'anga to the school. They also donated new library books, computers and assisted in upgrading classrooms.
Lady Tuna Fielakepa unveiled a commemorative plaque during a feast on Saturday 29 November, attended by the Director of Education 'Emeli Pouvalu.
The school, which teaches 247 young students from class 1-6 level, was established in 1964.
