Two new photocopy machines were donated to Hilliard Memorial School and the Seventh Day Adventist Church head office on Thursday, 20 November in Pahu.
Dean Lindsay of Fuji Xerox New Zealand, and Suliana Afu the General Manager of local agent A&A Retailer Ltd., handed over the equipment to Pastor Sione Kakala Moala, the President of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and Vika Lutui the Chairlady of Hilliard School Board at the school compound.
The President thanked the company for the generous donation needed by the church head office in Nuku'alofa, since they could not afford one and had to go elsewhere to do their photocopying.
Vika said the teachers, students and Hilliard school board were overjoyed to have their own photocopy machine which would greatly improve the effective delivery of their curriculum.
It is estimated that one photocopier cost around $18,000 pa’anga.
Hilliard has over 300 students from Class 1 to Form 2 levels.
