With only a week to go before Tongans head to the polls on Thursday 27 November, a total of 51,448 voters have registered, being a 21 percent jump from the 42,000 who registered in the last 2010 General Election.

Meanwhile, campaigning by the 107 candidates is ongoing with the most active campaigners seen out on the roads in Tongatapu No.1, 2 and 3 constituencies.

All election campaigns must cease 24-hours prior to the start of the voting at 9:00am on election day.
