Five students charged with murder of Sione Tufui [1]

The Fiji Police have charged five Nauruan high school students with the murder of 22 year-old Tongan USP student Sione Tufui, who died on Saturday morning June 21, in a Suva hospital.
According to the post-mortem, Tufui had died as a result of excessive head-injury. He was taken to hospital after an alleged brawl outside a Suva nightclub on Friday evening.
The five accused appeared before a Suva Magistrate's Court this afternoon. Two of the accused are aged 19 while another is aged 18.
Sione Tufui, from Houma, was in his second-year of study at the University of the South Pacific in Suva. He was studying towards a bachelor degree in information systems and physics. His body is will return to Tonga, tomorrow, June 27
