Australian-Tongan fighter, Soa “the Hulk” Palelei will fight an American ex-wrestling champion in one of the main cards of a major Mixed-Martial Arts (UFC) event in Auckland this Friday June 27.

The event is the UFC Fight Night 43 or UFC Fight Night: Josh Tehuna vs Nate Marquardt.

According to promoters, the 36 year-old Palelei is currently ranked the 14th best heavyweight UFC fighter in the world and a knockout victory would place him as a contender for the UFC heavyweight title. Despite his age, the imposing 6’4 foot and 110 kg hulk has knocked out all 11 of his last opponents and boasts a career record of 21 wins and 3 defeats

His journeyman opponent, 27 year-old American ex-wrestling champion Jared Rosholt boasts a record of 10 wins and only one defeat.
