Tonga thrashed by Fiji 45 – 17 [1]

The ‘Ikale Tahi were overwhelmed by the speed of the Flying Fijians last Saturday in Lautoka, losing 45 – 17.

The Flying Fijians scored six converted tries and were leading at the 53rd minute 31 – 0. Despite dominating territory and possession the ‘Ikale Tahi managed only two tries in the second-half both scored by Loose Forward, Viliami Fihaki. Two more tries by Fiji in the last three minutes sealed a big victory for Fiji.

The game was the ‘Ikale Tahi’s second and last for the 2014 Pacific Nations Cup.
