Church conferences attract overseas visitors [1]

Feast for Free Church of Tonga Conference at ‘Atele Indoor Stadium. 26 May 2014

The Annual Conference of the Free Church of Tonga (Tonga Tau'ataina) is currently being held this week, bringing hundreds of church members to Nuku’alofa.

The spiritual gathering includes church services and programs held at the main church situated opposite the Royal Tombs, with feasting at the ‘Atele Indoor Stadium.

Church congregations from Tonga and abroad, including Australia, New Zealand and Hawaii, are attending the conference, which began last week and will end on Thursday, May 29.

Meanwhile, the Church of Tonga (Hou'eiki) completed its annual conference in the capital last week.
