Victim named in suspected homicide [1]

Police have identified Dao Jin He (31) a Chinese national, as the victim of a suspected homicide in Tonga last week. He is alleged to have sustained head injury.

Police said the homicide investigation continued but no arrest had been made.

Friends had found the man unconscious inside his shop, located on By-Pass Road in Halaleva. He was rushed to hospital at around 11:30pm on Thursday February 20, but died at 7:00am the next morning.

Police said they had informed his next of kin before releasing the name of the victim.
