Tonga sends third contingent to Solomons [1]

Tonga's third contingent to be deployed to the Regional Assistance Mission to the Solomon Islands, a 33-member contingent led by Captain Siaosi Lepa Kupu Veikune, will depart for the Solomons on Monday July 18.
The contingent will remain in the Solomons for four months relieving Papua New Guinea...s contingent who are currently deployed there.
The members of the Regional Assistance Mission to the Solomon Islands are taking turns to serve as peacekeeping force to the Solomon and include Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tonga and Vanuatu
Tonga's third contingent held a farewell parade on Friday July 15.
