Bainimarama to resign from Fijian Army [1]

Fijian Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has announced that he will resign from his post as commander of the Fijian army next month, on February 28, 2014.

Bainimarama made the announcement yesterday at a military parade in Nabua, Fiji. He said that his successor will take over on March 1 but did not name who that might be.
