Price of fuel goes up [1]

Increases in the wholesale and retail prices for Petrol, Kerosene and Diesel in Tonga take effect tomorrow, January 16.

 The Ministry of Commerce, Tourism & Labour advised today = that the Tonga Competent Authority (TCA) approved the new petroleum prices for January – February 2014 

The Petroleum retail price will go up by 8.62 seniti per liter to $2.88 per liter.

Kerosene will go up by 8.93 seniti to $2.40 per liter.

The retail price for Diesel will go up by 7.37 seniti to $3.00 seniti per liter.

All prices include Consumption Tax.

The increase in the prices of Kerosene, Petrol, and Diesel for January – February 2014, according to the Tonga Competent Authority is due to increased Singapore  benchmark  prices and a drop in the value of the Tongan Pa‘anga.
