Tongatapu nobles by-election set for July 14 [1]

A By-Election to elect a new Tongatapu Noble's Representative to the Tonga Legislative Assembly will be held on Thursday July 14.

The by election follows the death of the Tongatapu no. 1 Nobles Representative, Hon. Vaha'i on May 22.

Tonga's Electoral Supervisor, Pita Vuki, said on July 11 that the By Election would be held at the Palace Office, starting at 10 am and closing at 12 pm on July 14.

The Nobles have had two by-elections this year. The first By-Election on May 3 was to replace the Tongatapu No. 2 Noble's Representative, the Hon. Tu'ivakano who was appointed as the Minister of Works.
