Golf driving range opens [1]

‘Anau Lifuka, the landscaping contractor for the driving range, said that the project, which cost $100,000 for grading of the grass, golf equipment and maintenance was funded by the Tonga College Ex-Students.
The 250 yards range will cater for learners, and people practicing golf, as well as for overseas visitors who want to hit a few golf balls. ‘Anau said the range employs a trainer, and provides golf clubs and golf balls.
It is just the beginning of many projects that will be funded for Lopaukamea II by Tonga College Ex-Students, said 'Anau who also has plans to set up a mini golf course, a restaurant and Internet Center.
‘Anau who lives in Arizona, USA, is an ex-student of Tonga College, and was responsible for the landscaping of Lopaukamea II that was opened last year.
