Free medical services are being provided this week to some of Tonga’s isolated islands through a “floating health care clinic”.

A non-profit health organisation “Sea Mercy” has a large sailing vessel in the group, providing free medical services from July 8-18.

Sea Mercy is working closely with the Tonga Ministry of Health and the vessel has a team of four American and seven Tongan medical staff.

Tonga is the first of eleven countries in Sea Mercy’s expedition to provide medical aid to remote Pacific Islands communities.
