Petroleum prices increase for June-July 2013 [1]

Petroleum prices in Tonga increased slightly on Monday 17 June.

The new retail prices for Petrol increased by 3.19 Seniti from $2.72 per litre to $2.75 per litre. The new retail prices for Diesel increased by 2.65 seniti from $2.77 per litre to $2.80 per litre. The new retail prices for Kerosene increased by 1.64 seniti from $2.14 per litre to $2.16 per litre.

The rise in cost was mainly attributed to a weakened Tongan Pa‘anga against the US dollar.
