Six valuable 'Eua parrots were lost from Tonga's Bird Park at Veitongo, after they were released from their cages sometime on the evening of May 17.
A European woman who is holidaying in Tonga is suspected of releasing the parrots.
Claudia Matavalea, the manager of the park, said that all the six birds in the cage, parrots that were brought from 'Eua, had been set free.
Claudia said that she had complained to the police, and informed them that she suspected that a woman who was visiting Tonga was responsible, and she will take legal action against her for trespassing and for damages. She hoped that there would be a court order, stopping the suspect from leaving the country.
