A Western Union promo rewarded two of its customers with packages groceries worth $200 on Friday January 11.
The recipients ‘Ofa Fisi'ihoi and Mate Tamale Jnr. were each selected from a monthly draw of customers who received money from New Zealand for the months of October and November last year.
Manager of Tonga’s Western Union Lusitania Nakao said the prize giving at Western Union, Nuku'alofa, was a show of gratitude to its customers and that the company wanted to reward them for their loyalty. She said that similar draws were being used in New Zealand to reward customers sending money out to Pacific Islands.
