Tonga Chamber of Commerce and Industry elects council for 2012-13 [1]

Aloma Johansson was re-elected as president of the Tonga Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. at its annual general meeting in Nuku'alofa, last night.

It is Aloma's second year as president.

Tricia Emberson, former secretary of the TCCI was elected as the new teasurer.

Other members of the new council for 2012-13 are: vice-President, Paula Taumoepeau; Secretary, Emeline Afeaki Mafile'o; assistant secretary, Tania ‘Otukolo; assistant treasurer, Hehea Tukuafu; councillors, Stan Moheloa, Minoru Nishi, Tevita Palu, and Edgar Cocker; Legal advisor, Dana Stephenson, auditor, Knowlton Itaehau.

Aloma said that the TCCI would also be calling for expressions of interest to fill four affiliate member positions on the council. The affiliate members drawn from other NGOs will have voting rights on the council.
