The Tonga Tourist Association now has 181 financial members, as well as 280 members from 14 affiliated groups, throughout Tonga, and branches in Australia and the United States of America, the Annual General Meeting was told on April 21.

The elected president of TTA for 2012 is Siosaia Moehau of Loumaile Lodge, The Black Pearl Suites, and City Tours & Travel.

The AGM was held at the Loumaile Conference Room. The financial members include 92 in Tongatapu, 69 in Vava'u, 17 in Ha'apai, and 3 in 'Eua, as well as 14 financial Handicrafts Affiliated Associations with 280 members.  TTA had opened branches in Australia and the United States of America in 2010.
