Boundaries Report with Cabinet [1]

THE Report of the Royal Constituency Boundaries Commission to settle the electoral boundaries for the 2010 Elections was presented to King George Tupou V on Thursday, March 25 in Nuku'alofa.
Assistant Secretary for the Royal Constituency Boundaries Commission, Talita Tu'ipulotu, confirmed that the report was presented to the king by the three members of the Commission, Mr Gerard Winter, Hon Cecil Cocker and Dr Sione Nailasikau Halatuituia.
The report in four volumes is now with Cabinet and it is not known when it would be released to the public.
The Royal Constituency Boundaries Commission was established on December 11, 2009, to settle the electoral boundaries for the 2010 Elections.
It was scheduled to present a report to the King no later than June 30, 2010, and remain in operation until 2014.
