Vusenga Helu out of election [1]

‘Iunaise Vusenga Helu, a Vava‘u candidate (no. 15) for the March 17 Parliamentary Election was struck out from the Electoral Roll today, March 10, by Chief Justice Robin Webster.
Vusenga appeared in the Nuku‘alofa Supreme court on March 8 ...9 to defend her right to remain in the Electoral Roll after a claim by the Crown that she had infringed Clause 65 of the Constitution and she should be disqualified and her name struck out from the Electoral Roll because she did not abide by a court order to repay her loan to the Tonga Development Bank.
After the hearing on Wednesday, March 9 Chief Justice Robin Webster reserved his decision for Friday, March 11, but then this afternoon passed his decision.
The defendant was ordered to pay the Plaintiff's costs.
‘Ofa Pouono was the legal counsel for the Crown, and Vusenga represented herself.
