Tonga Women U-17 loses to PNG and Solomons [1]

Tonga's U-17 Women's Football Team have lost two of its three matches at the first Oceania Football Confederation U-17 Women's Championship held in Auckland.
On the opening match of the tournament on April 12 at the North Harbour Stadium, Papua New Guinea defeated Tonga 4-0 while heavyweight New Zealand thrashed the Solomon Islands
10-0.
On the second day of the tournament, April 14 the Tongans lost again to the Solomon Islands 5-0 while New Zealand dominated Papua New Guinea with a winning score of 9-0.
Winless Tonga would meet New Zealand on Friday, April 16, the final day of the tournament.
The winner of the tournament would advance to the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Trinidad and Tobago in September this year.
The five other Pacific Islands competing alongside Tonga included PNG, Solomons, Tahiti, New Caledonia and New Zealand.
