Tonga remains without Attorney General [1]

TONGA has remained without an Attorney General for over a month now following the resignation of John Cauchi on April 30, 2010.

The Solicitor General 'Aminiasi Kefu said on June 8, that he is not Acting in the position.

He said that all administration matters that came under the Attorney General had been referred to the Prime Minister at the Prime Minister's Office.

However, he confirmed that no legal matters had been submitted to the Prime Minister's Office.
