Mele'ana, from Longoteme is a cultural dancer and has been chosen as one of the performers in the Tonga Cultural Dancing Group that will be attending Tonga's National Day at the World Expo in Shanghai, on August 2.

Registration for the 2010 Miss Heilala Pageant will be closed on July 10, before the pageant starts on July 13 with the Pageant Orientation.

On July 19 is the Miss Heilala Pre Pageant Interview, the first judging event followed by the second judging event, the Miss Tau'olunga on July 20.

A Miss Heilala Dress Rehearsal will follow on July 21.

The Finale night of judging will be held on July 22 the Miss Heilala Elegance Night featuring the Miss Heilala Sarong, Talent and the Contemporary Island Creation. All these events will be held at the Heilala Village.

The new Miss Heilala 2010-11 would be crowned in a Heilala 30th Anniversary Grand Ball on Friday July 23. Special entertainment will feature former Miss Heilala Beauty Queens.

The reigning Miss Heilala, Paea Williams, will also be taking part in the pageant.
