TWO men were arrested last week and charged with the robbery and theft of an Asian business at Lapaha, where more than $1,000 cash was stolen in May this year.

Deputy Police Commander Taniela Faletau in the Tonga Police weekly crime report on July 6 said that the two men aged 23 years and 19 years, who were arrested by police at Mu'a, were scheduled to appear before the Mu'a Police Magistrate on Wednesday, July 7.

Heilala festivities

He also advised the public to maintain order during the Heilala Festival coming up next week on July 13-24.

Festival programs would be conducted mostly along Taufa'ahau Road in downtown Nuku'alofa and the Police had noted that the festival is alcohol free and would enforce it strictly, said the Deputy Police Commander.
