Nurses report on reproductive health issues in Tonga [1]

HRH Princess Pilolevu Tuita officially opened the 2005 Reproductive Health Management and Review Workshop at the Basilica, Nuku'alofa on February 28.
The five - day workshop will cover issues such as Adolescent Reproductive Health, Sexually Transmitted Infection, HIV/Aids in Tonga, Contraceptive Update, Still births and other issues relating to Reproductive Health.
The workshop from February 28 to March 4 is attended by 62 public health sector nurses from Tongatapu, Vava'u, Ha'apai, 'Eua and Niuatoputapu. Nurses will present district reports from Tongatapu and from the outer island groups.
The workshop has been held annually since the 1990...s, and it focuses on the general Reproductive Health development in Tonga.
The workshop is organised by the Ministry of Health in conjunction with the United Nations Population Fund and the World Health Organisation.
