HE MR THOMAS ROTH, Australian High Commissioner, presented his credentials to HRH the Princess Regent, Princess Salote Mafile'o Pilolevu Tuita on January 20 at the Royal Palace.

HE Mr Roth has worked for the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) for over 20 years and has served at various Australian missions in Austria, Brazil, and the United States of America and most recently served as Director, United States (US) Trade Section at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. He succeeds HE Dr Bruce Hunt who completed his term as High Commissioner in December 2010.

The High Commissioner is married to Mrs Christiane Roth and they have three children. Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 20/01/11.
