Five cruise ships for Nuku'alofa in February [1]

The Crystal Serenity was the second cruise ship to visit Nuku'alofa this year, arriving early on February 2 from Rarotonga for a one day visit before leaving for New Zealand.
Sitafooti 'Aho of Teta Tours, the Tonga shore excursion agent, said the Crystal Serenity carried 870 American passengers, who visited historical sites, monuments and beaches on Tongatapu.
The first cruiseship to arrive in Nuku'alofa this year was a German cruise ship, the MV Columbus with 400 passengers.
Sitafooti said that four more cruiseships are expected to arrive in Nuku'alofa this month. With two arriving on 16 February - the Mximgorkai (Germany) and the MS Pacific Venus (Japan); one on 17 February, the Asuka (Japan); and one on 21 February, the Aurora (UK).
