Murder charge at Houmakelikao [1]

A man has been charged with murder following the death of 'Otuhouma Loto'aniu 39, of Houmakelikao, at his home on Sunday, January 30.

The Deputy Commander of Police, Taniela Faletau confirmed yesterday, January 31 that 'Otuhouma died at Vaiola Hospital on Sunday evening from severe multiple head injuries.

Taniela said that a 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder. It is the first murder case for Tonga in 2005.
