Liberty who entered the contest as Miss Siangana Travel and Gateway to Paradise Tours lives in Utah. She is a Senior Student at the University of Utah majoring in Health Promotion and Education. She plans on finishing her undergraduate studies this year and to continue further studies in Public Health. As Miss Tonga Utah 2011 Liberty serves as an ambassador to the Tongan people in Utah promoting "Tauhi Va", or bridging generation gaps.

She is the eldest and only daughter of Soane Afeaki from Pangai, Ha'apai and Tuimoeofa Afeaki from 'Otea, Vava'u, in a family with five brothers.

The Miss Heilala's prizes include $3,000 pa'anga and return ticket for two Tonga-Los Angeles-Tonga.

Runner up

The first runner up was Miss Tonga Visitors Bureau, 'Elisapeta 'Akau'ola, a local girl; and the second runner up was Miss Lady Maria, Victoria Langafisi from Australia.

The third runner up was Miss Friendly Islands USA Pi'ilani Afu and fourth runner up was Miss National Tongan American Society of Utah Lavinia Malekamu.

There were five contestants for this year's pageant.
