Rev Luke Sikalu (72) passes away [1]

Rev Luke Sikalu (72) the President of the Tonga Konisitutone Church died at his home at Pahu in Nuku'alofa on Monday September 19.

A family member confirmed today, that Rev. Luke passed away peacefully at around 4am yesterday morning. She said he was well as his last public appearance on Sunday, September 18 when he attended a National Prayer Service for the Millennium Development Goals.

Rev. Sikalu was recently re-elected as President of the Church during their annual Church Conference held in Vava'u earlier this year.
