Taholo (80) runs for Tongan parliament [1]

Taholo Lelea.

Taholo Lelea 80, a grower from the village of Kolovai, is the oldest candidate for the March 17 tri-ennial Parliamentary Election.

Taholo said that he decided to run in Tongatapu because he supports Tonga's current system with the King as the Head of the country. They are of the same generation.

Taholo also said that he does not support nor like the current ideas of changing the country's monarch system into any other system of government.

Taholo who lives by himself at his home at Kolovai, returned to Tonga in 1998 after living and travelling abroad for several years.
