CHRISTMAS carols were performed in central Nuku'alofa on Thursday night December 1, in a special program organized by the Sisu koe Fetu'ungingila Church Group.
The Prime Minister Lord Tu'ivakano and Princess Taone Ma'afu were the guests of honour to the event held at the Digicel Tonga's Christmas tree. While many families turned out and sat on the lawn and enjoyed the carols.

The 12 groups performing began the Christmas celebration in the capital. Performers included Fua'amotu FWC Youth, Digicel Stars, Harmony Trios from the Seventh Day Adventist Church, the Police Brass Band, Sisu ko e Fetu'ungingila, the Baker Family, and Icon Group.
