Lord Dalgety arrested [1]

Lord Dalgety, the Secretary of the Shipping Corporation of Polynesia Ltd, was arrested just after 5 pm today, when he left the Fa'onelua Centre, after giving evidence to the Commission of Inquiry into the sinking of Princess Ashika.
There was a bit of verbal exchange between Lord Dalgety, his co-commissioner at the Tonga Electricity Commission Kafu Afeaki, his counsel Stanley Afeaki and the police who arrested Lord Dalgety and read out the warrant of arrest as he left the Convention Centre after a whole day of giving evidence.
He was taken away in a police car to the police station for questioning.
The Deputy Police Commander Taniela Faletau his evening did not want to make any comment on the arrest or confirm the nature of any charges that may have been made. He said that the police would make a full statement on Monday.
