Three teenagers have been charged with the murder of a 21-year-old man at Talafo'ou on Friday, December 11, police confirmed today.

The three accused young men aged 15, 16 and 19 years old from Makaunga and Talafo'ou are charged with murder and will appear at the Mu'a Magistrate Court on December 16.

Deputy Police Commander Taniela Faletau in the Police Weekly Crime report today, said details of the incident could not be released now, but an inquest confirmed the victim from Navutoka died from multiple injuries to his skull.

This brings the number of murders for Tonga so far to eight for 2009, he confirmed.
