The Royal Commission of Inquiry into the sinking of the MV Princess Ashika has adjourned for two weeks and will resume on Monday, December 7.
The hearing was adjourned on November 19 because the Fa'onelua Convention Centre venue was booked for other engagements.
Before adjourning the inquiry heard from witnesses including Viliami Tu'ipulotu, the Acting Director of Marine; and Captain Viliami Makahokovalu Tupuptupu.
John Jonesse was also called because he was set to continue his evidence last Thursday, but was adjourned to January 21, 2009 because he will not have a counsel available to represent him until January.
The captain who was the last to give evidence will resume his evidence when the inquiry resumes on December 7. The inquiry has been running since October 27.
