The Tonga Government's Information Unit reported an acknowledgment by the Operation Chief, Navy Seabees, Chief Gerald Lebeduik of Camp Blue Diamond, Iraq. "I would like to thank the country of Tonga for their support," said Chief Gerald Lebeduik. "I served with the Royal Tongan Marines in Iraq, it was a proud moment of my career as a Chief Petty Officer in the US Navy to be associated with Lt. Col. Latu and the men of the platoon."
